The diptychs in Ruminations on Earthen and Osseous Matter are my ponderings of the micro and macro, the internal and external, the grand and the minute – a visual connection of earth and found animal bones. Each named after land and water forms, I enjoy connecting similar lines and forms, pairing of colors and textures, and thinking on the shared complexities that appear both our internal structure and the makeup of our vast world.
